Adelaide Fringe - food recommendations for you legends!  - Juice Traders

Adelaide Fringe - food recommendations for you legends!

As part of our Fringe recommendation series, our Juice Traders team are sharing our top places to eat at Fringe, from Rundle street to the garden & gluttony! We also have another giveaway for you legends!

Conveniently located on Rundle Street, just minutes from the Garden of Unearthly Delights, is a picturesque, authentic and quirky Italian themed alley just outside of Sugar - here you have Sugatecca!

If the authentic alley with everything Italian from hanging washing, to a vintage Vespa car, appropriately-themed street art and the live deejay isn't enough to reel you in, just wait until you try the gloriously delicious, traditional Napolese pizza! Complimented perfectly by the 'Teca Spritz or a cold frothy from the tap - what could be better?!

Open from Wednesday to Sunday with drinks from 3pm, and pizza from 6pm, this is the spot to be!

In collaboration with Sugar Adelaide and Pizzatecca, we are giving away dinner and cocktails for two at Sugatecca for you to enjoy!

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, like our competition post, tag a friend in the comments, and make sure you are both follow us and Sugar Adelaide; both parties must be following both accounts to win. You can tag and enter as many times as you'd like!  Winner will be drawn Monday 7th March.  Click here to see the competition post.

Looking for a gem within just minutes walk of the garden? Tiger Mountain is for you!

Delivering pan-Asian street food favourites, from charcoal chicken to roast eggplant sandwiches, owner Mark Kamleh describes it best:  "it's not of a place, its of a vibe". How cool!

Tiger Mountain works symbiotically with its host pub, The Exeter Hotel. The  team encourages Fringe-goers who’re visiting this pop-up to grab a meal, a jug, and hang out inside the pub, or out in the Exeter’s extended on-street seating section. Collaboration vibes are what we love!

Located outside The Exeter, 246 Rundle Street, Adelaide 5000
Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Fringe
From 4pm-ish ’til late

See you there!

From the team behind Whistle & Flute, Just Down The Road & The Port Admiral Hotel, comes the ever-consistent and always delicious pop-up coffee shop and Espresso Martini shack!

In need of a warming, energising coffee or hot drink for after your show? Or rather in need of a top notch Espresso Martini? Or, why not have both?! Baker Boys, Josh & Jacob have you covered for all occasions! Delicious sips all round.

Every event and fringe season needs a good coffee shop and espresso martini, and here it is! Give it a visit this season!

We've done it again, and curated a range of on-the-go drinks we think pair perfectly with a night at the garden, or as you wander through the vibrance of East End's street party... whether you're a red, white or non-alcoholic drinker, we have you covered legends!

For the beer drinker...

Little Bang Brewing Co, Lupulus Verde, Dry Hopped Philly Sour

Little Bang Brewing have an interesting and varied range of brews, and they've developed this one from the newly isolated Philly Sour yeast strain. This is a dry, complex sour presenting fruity, grassy characters of Amarillo and Citra hops. Lupulus Verde simply means green (or fresh) hops!

Forest For The Trees, Raspberry Sour Red Ale

Strap yourself in as this is one hell of a ride, Bright rich Jammy fruit aromas almost a confectionary note... With subtle malt backbone and raspberries bringing some beautifully tart flavours through this banger!!

 For the rosé drinker...

Moorak X Leigh Street Wine Room, Rosé, 2021

The always amazing Moorak brings us this rose style gem in collaboration with our sister restaurant, Leigh Street Wine Room of Adelaide.

It's bright, textural and Juicy with notes of red nectarine, grapefruit, lemon rind, stone fruits, berries and a refreshing acidity and tartness (with a hint of a Campari kind of thing going on!). Beautiful stuff - we're proud as punch!

And Rainbow Juice!

Gentle Folk, Rainbow Juice, 2021

Named for Gareth's better half, Rainbow. This is a blend of many many grape varieties, this year being predominantly white. This is a wine that walks to the beat of its own drum. Is it orange? Is it rosé? Who even knows. Breezy, wild, untamed; nothing is added here, it's just pure juice!

We hope our recommendations keep you entertained, and your glasses full! Enjoy Fringe season legends!
