With roots dating back all the way to 1753, Michter's aims for nothing less than creating the finest American Whiskeys out of their distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. This particular small batch whiskey is neither a bourbon nor a rye (which by definition need to be aged in new oak barrels), as this one ages in whiskey-soaked oak barrels. Notes of butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, ripened fruit. A top notch and unique American Whiskey!
