Syrah, Grenache Blanc, Muscat Noir, Muscat Blanc, Chasselas, Italia, Ribol and Cardinal
Anders Frederik Steen used to be a sommelier in his native Denmark, responsible for writing some of the best wine lists in the world. A blend of over six ‘table grapes’ and Grenache are destemmed and left to macerate in the fermenting juice of a direct press of Syrah for six weeks. The nose is thick with spice, while the palate offers just a hint of tannin and plenty of sour cherry. Fucking great stuff, from a producer that seriously knows his way around a wine.
