Jerome Bretaudeau set up Domaine De Belle-Vue on his own in 2005, having made wine for others for the previous 10 years. The Domaine is located in the Muscadet Sevre Et Maine AOC and works with the grape Melon de Bourgogne. This absolute stunner is complex and displays great structure with green apple, lemon, savoury characters and a along with a striking acidity. Muscadet is usually best drunk within the first 5 years as it can tend to lack the structure for further ageing. Although this can be thoroughly enjoyed now, we have it on good word that for those with the patience, this could be cellared (due to the racy acidity) for up to 15 years! Brilliant work from a top quality producer.
