Counoise is a little-known variety mostly grown in the Rhone Valley in France and is one of the grapes allowed into the esteemed Chateauneuf Du Pape wines of that region. The main other places its grown are in a few areas of the US including California. This 100% Counoise is soft, delicate and pretty, with cherry, pepper and earth characters with a long finish. Broc Cellars is only a small producer, and very little of this makes it into Australia. Refined and seductive.
