Winemaker Dani Landi's winery in The Sierra De Gredos region (Spain) makes beautifully light and delicate Garnacha (Grenache) that also have an impressive structure. He has called this wine 'Las Uvas de la Ira', which translates to 'The Grapes of Wrath,' a title borrowed from the classic John Steinbeck's novel. The vineyard landscape is described as beautiful old bush vine Grenache grown on granite soils in a mountain range at extreme altitudes. Pomegranate and raspberry flavours with a pleasant acidity and a bit of power behind it. You don't need to go all the way to Spain to enjoy this one, but after a glass of this you might be dreaming about it!
