Started by famous winemaker and vigneron Marcel Richaud, the estate is now run by his children Thomas, Claire and Edith. The focus is on harvesting a healthy and ripe crop. The wines are made in large cement vats with a blend done about 8 months later. This is a classic Norther Rhone blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, making a beautiful full bodied wine full of cherry, red fruit and earthy characters. If you're familiar with Australian GSMs it's fun to compare with a French version of this traditional blend!
