From the vineyards of Beaujolais legend George Descombes comes this superb wine from Regnie: the most recent (and probably least known) Cru added to the region. Aromas of red and black berries, cherry, voilets and rose as well as meaty, earthy undertones. On the palate, plum and raspberry, blackberry, pomegranate, spice and orange peel. A complex finish with soft, smooth tannins and a freshness given by a little acidity. This is some stunning Beaujolais right here; perfect with food or for just relaxing in style!
