An expressive pinot noir that was picked early to avoid becoming a bird's dinner. The rich volcanic soil of this vineyard has helped create an amazing ripeness to the grapes. The wine has a touch of skins that makes the texture umph! Which is a damn important quality in pinot noirs that you don't want to fall flat. Salty, rich, earthy, ripe.... it's crazy to hear, but this wine benefits from aging as well!
