Alex Foillard is the son of Jean and Agnès Foillard, and follows in the same philosophies of working the vineyards to ensure the very best grapes while using minimal intervention in the cellar. Alex honed his skills at the family winery as well as with stints in Montpellier, Beaune, Australia and Japan. We're happy to report that the results are fantastic. This is a delicate wine made from an excellent old-vine parcel situated just beneath the cru of Régnié, between Morgon and Brouilly. This is bright with red fruits, spices and a light earthy edge. Beautiful Beaujolais!
