Owen Latta completed his first vintage with his family's winery, Eastern Peake, at the age of just 15 after his dad got a concussion and wasn't able to continue with that vintage. He also started making his own wine as a teenager, and Latta is a continuation of that. Now the wines are refined, beautiful natural wines out of Victoria. The Rattlesnake is an experiment made up of many different skin contact ferments, and displays notes of stone fruit, marmalade, spice cupboard and a touch of dried wildflower - in the most lovely way. It's complex, slightly bizarre and easy drinking all at once!
