This super-duper small-batch project materialised from the brain of chef-turned-aperitif lover Dave Verheul (ex-head chef of Melbourne's Embla), who this year was awarded Gourmet Traveller's Young Gun of Wine 'Danger Zone' award for his blackcurrant vermouth. Fallen Quinces is the O.G. of Saison, and it is fucking soso good. Easy chilled & neat, or on ice, or even blended with a touch of soda.... this is the thing that finishes you on a high note. The element that makes dinner perfect. It's always good to have a bottle of dinner kryptonite on hand.... and since this is now from an award-winner; it won't be lasting long.
